Description

Smartgeometry is a community of designers, practicioners and researchers–architects, engineers and artists that work at the forefront of digital technology in the built environment. A yearly conference is held where the community meets, works together in workshops, discusses pertinent topics and listens to trendsetters.

Hugo has been a participant, workshop champion and conference organiser of Smartgeometry. As a particpant in San Francisco in 2009 he started a collaboration with Flora Salim, that led to champion a cluster in Barcelona in 2010. For the conference in Copenhagen in 2011, as well as Troy (NY) in 2012, Hugo was part of the organising committee of Smartgeometry. For the conference in London in 2013 Hugo was a reviewer, and in Hong Kong in 2014, Hugo was again a cluster champion.
